Description
CJC-1295 (no DAC) is a synthetic peptide consisting of 29 amino acids, also referred to as Modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF. It is a truncated and modified analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), which is naturally a 44-amino acid peptide produced in the hypothalamus. CJC-1295 was first synthesized in the early 2000s. The “no DAC” designation indicates this version lacks the Drug Affinity Complex — a reactive chemical group used in the longer-acting variant to bind covalently to serum albumin.
The compound has the molecular formula C152H252N44O42, an approximate molecular weight of 3,368 g/mol, and a CAS number of 446036-97-1.
